Hello! My name is Mindy, and I'm a stay at home mom of one-year-old twin girls. When I became a stay at home mom, I started using coupons and finding different ways to save money both online and around central Iowa (especially the Des Moines area). This blog was created to share my tips and tricks of being a "cheap chica" -- or as one of my friends says, "It's being smart, not cheap." These are some of my favorite tips, tricks, and freebies I have learned for how to get the most bang for my buck using coupons and shopping online. While I admire some of the (sometimes crazy) extreme couponers, I do NOT spend countless HOURS couponing -I don't have or take the time. There are also some tricks I have learned for easy, legitimate ways to earn extra money online.
